Target audience: Multi-disciplinary, Middle management, supervisors
and functional staff, who will actively lead, or contribute to a Six Sigma
project.
Course Objectives:
1. Understand exactly
what Six Sigma is and how it is used for process improvement
2. Become familiar with the Champion, Black, Green and Yellow
Belt infrastructure
3. Understand and apply the five phases of the DMAIC methodology
4. Be able to identify improvement projects in your organization
and use basic statistics tools and metrics

Course Overview
The trainer and the
students meet every day and discuss Yellow Belt philosophy and
tools and starting from the fundamentals, we go upwards and
present, analyse and discuss the related theory, which
constitutes the entire Yellow Belt knowledge base.

Introduction to Six Sigma and Management Principles, Introduction
to Statistical concepts and techniques.
Define Phase: Process Mapping,
Measure Phase: C&E, FMEA, SIPOC Diagram.
Analyze Phase: Cause Analysis, Central Limit Theorem, Confidence
Intervals, Hypothesis Testing, Sampling
Improve Phase: Design of Experiments
Control Phase: SPC, Process Control Plans

Are
there any prerequisites to enrol in this course?
There are no formal prerequisites for Feanors Six Sigma
Yellow Belt training. This training is ideal for anyone wanting
to learn the fundamentals of the Six Sigma philosophy. Self
motivation and some knowledge of continuous improvement tools are
an advantage but not essential.
